Burning Down The Underground

The new album is almost done!

I've been in the studio everyday this past week mixing, and this new album I've been working on is gonna be worth the wait my friends. If you liked the first two, you're gonna love this one. I've got it narrowed down to the best 11 songs. And I guarantee you that there is no filler. These songs could all be singles in their own right. (Well, in a perfect world that is. FM radio probably won't play the 9 minute Spanish punk epic that we recorded.)

There are rebel rousers ala Rocking Hoarse Calypso, then from there it's a lot of uncharted territory for me...a hybrid of honky tonk, minor chord folk ballads, swamp blues, Spanish punk; plus all that is the Tyler Jakes psychedelia that you've come to expect. Oh, and I'm closing the album with a lullabye? WTF? Yeah, that's right.

I'm planning on a late March release date if all goes well. I'll be posting the first single next week with some info on how you can download it and help me fund the rest of the album so I can finally get it pressed up and available.
